Synthesis / Manufacturing Process of Phosphorous Protein Hydrolysate
It can be manufactured by two routes: Enzymatic Hydrolysis & Alkali Hydrolysis. The products are manufactured using the enzymatic hydrolysis route, where the solution is heated to irreversibly inactivate the enzymes, and then concentrated & spray dried in a controlled environment to prevent bacterial contamination.

Uses / Applications of Protein Hydrolysate
Phosphorus plays a significant role in energy metabolism and is essential for respiration and cell division. It is a structural component of cell membranes, a constituent of nucleotides and nucleic acids, and promotes root formation and fruit ripening.
Deficiencies are recognized as follows –
Red or purple blotches on leaf surfaces, loss of older leaves, stunted plants, and dark green leaves. Other symptoms include increased seed dormancy, premature leaf and fruit fall, increased phosphatase enzyme activity, and carbohydrate accumulation in soybean plants.
