Synthesis / Manufacturing Process of Calcium Citrate

The main raw material is Citric Acid, which is produced by a fermentation process using a carbohydrate source like corn-based starch or sugar beet molasses. Calcium Citrate is produced by treating Citric Acid with lime to produce calcium citrate solids, which are then treated with sulfuric acid.
