This is a spray-dried material obtained from the enzymatic hydrolysis of peanut meal. It is a mixture of amino acids essential for the normal growth of plants and animals. The key elements are Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen & Hydrogen. It is hygroscopic and should be packed in tightly closed containers.
Synthesis / Manufacturing Process of Peanut Protein Hydrolysate
It is manufactured by extracting protein from peanut beans using the enzymatic hydrolysis route. After hydrolysis, the solution is heated to irreversibly inactivate the enzymes. The solution is then concentrated and spray-dried in a controlled environment to prevent bacterial contamination.
