Monopotassium Phosphate Is A Derivative Of Phosphoric Acid. It Is A White Crystalline Powder And Is Soluble In Water. It Should Be Stored In Tightly Closed Containers In A Room Temperature.

Synthesis / Manufacturing Process of Monopotassium Phosphate

The Main Raw Material For All Phosphates Is Phosphoric Acid. Phosphoric Acid Is Manufactured From Rock Phosphates. The Phosphoric Acid Slurry Is Mixed With Sulfuric Acid, Which Is Added To A Series Of Reactors As A Leaching Agent. The Process Stream Is Washed With Evaporator Condensate While Being Forced Through A Filter. The Filter Cake Is Primarily Composed Of Gypsum (). The Phosphoric Acid Is Concentrated To 25-100% By A Series Of Evaporators And Then Cooled. Monopotassium Phosphate Is Manufactured By A Reaction Between Potassium Hydroxide And Phosphoric Acid.
