Ferric Ammonium Citrate Green is a green powder with a slight ammonia odor. It is freely soluble in water and has a mild iron-metallic taste. It may deliquesce in air and is affected by light. This green product is a more readily reduced form than the brown product. It should be stored in a tightly closed container away from heat and light.
