Information on Diammonium Phosphate

Diammonium Phosphate Is A Derivative Of Phosphoric Acid. It Is A White Crystalline Powder With A Melting Point Of  C. It Should Be Stored In Tightly Closed Containers In A Room Temperature.

Synthesis / Manufacturing Process of Diammonium Phosphate

The Major Raw Material For All Phosphates Is Phosphoric Acid. Phosphoric Acid Is Manufactured From Rock Phosphates. The Phosphoric Acid Slurry Is Mixed With Sulfuric Acid, Which Is Added To A Series Of Reactors As A Leaching Agent. The Process Stream Is Washed With Evaporator Condensate While Being Forced Through A Filter. The Filter Cake Is Composed Primarily Of Gypsum (). The Phosphoric Acid Is Concentrated By A Series Of Evaporators And Then Cooled. Diammonium Phosphate Is Manufactured By A Reaction Between Ammonia And Phosphoric Acid.
